Pictures can be edited, renamed, resized, converted and more. In other words, you can do mostly anything with your images. Certain tasks call for different applications, but if you want to avoid installing countless programs on your computer, you can use cPicture. It covers a wide range of processes, from moving your pictures to other folders to converting them to other formats or creating HTML pages. Thanks to its straightforward functionality, you can manage your photos, without too much effort, even if you are a beginner.

You can use the software's trial version, for a limited period of time, without any kind of restrictions. The best part about this application is the fact that you don't need to install it. cPicture consists of a single executable, which is only 1.14 MB. Once downloaded, you can run it right away and start using the software's features.

The familiar layout of the interface allows you to browse through your pictures in a fast and comfortable fashion. The folders on your hard drive are displayed in a tree menu, located in the upper left part of the interface and you can view their contained images in the larger area on the right. You can switch between different tabs, in the lower region of the window, to view and edit EXIF data, histograms, place markers on a map to show where you took a picture and more. The software filters your files by default, to show only pictures, videos or audio files. Folders which don't contain any media files appear with their names slightly faded, making it easier to locate your images.

Files are displayed as thumbnails and you can preview them beneath the files list. A series of options, located in the same area, can be used to rotate the current image, crop it, change the zoom level and more. cPicture's core functions are listed beneath the tree menu. They will affect your files instantly and you can use them on single or multiple images. Obviously, you need to make a few adjustments, when renaming images or performing other actions. The involved options will appear in the same area after clicking a listed function.

Alternatively, you may select the first option, in the same list, to replace the files list and the preview area with a list of targeted files. While this view mode is activated, you can select one of many actions from a drop menu, located next to the list. The software is capable of performing numerous tasks. Converting, comparing folders, locating duplicates, creating 3D pictures or splitting panorama pictures are just a few examples.

Pros

cPicture provides you with many possibilities. It lets you edit EXIF data for individual pictures, convert them, resize or rename them and much more. The available features are well organized, making the interface very comfortable. The software doesn't need to be installed and it consists of a single .exe file, which means that you can use it from a removable memory device, on any computer.

Cons

There are no options for selecting or deselecting all pictures at once. cPicture enables you to manage your images and perform numerous editing tasks, from a single interface.
